Rob Finnegan

Rob Finnegan brings a rare combination of large bank risk experience and entrepreneurial experience to bear for clients.

Rob spent 18 years at Capital One where he led Small Business Card, Collections and Recoveries for US Card, and Decision Sciences.

Rob has founded two successful firms in the financial technology space: Koalafi which provides POS finance and has financed purchases for over 1M Americans and Verdata which provides SMB underwriting data for lenders. As CEO of Koalafi, Rob raised equity and large amounts of secured debt in addition to developing innovative tech and products.

As a consultant, Rob has supported major firms like Goldman Sachs, Wells Fargo, and Commonwealth Bank of Australia. He has also advised investment firms like Warburg Pincus and Vistria. Some of his favorite engagements have been for fintech startups.
