Most recently, Diego was a Chief Credit Officer at X1, where Diego spearheaded credit risk management, data-driven decision-making, and product innovation to drive financial growth and responsible lending.

Before joining X1, Diego served as the Chief Data Officer at Wagestream, where he led data strategy initiatives to enhance financial well-being solutions. Prior to that, Diego played a pivotal role at Nubank, one of the world's largest digital banks, as the Head of Credit, Marketing, and Analytics, driving scalable growth strategies in the Latin American market.

Earlier in his career, Diego spent over a decade at Capital One, leading multiple teams across credit strategy, marketing, big data analytics, and risk management. His expertise spans credit policy development, machine learning applications in finance, and customer-centric product innovation.
